What we're less sure about
Verified against the official state page
- VERIFIED (10 Sep 2026). Official CBPL FAQ: 'If the entity is created in an even-numbered year, the Biennial Report due date will be January 2nd of every even-numbered year.' An LLC formed in 2026 therefore files its first report on 2 January 2028 — not 2027. Year one is $250 only.
- Alaska also requires a separate general state Business Licence (~$50 biennial) for most businesses; general licensing, not LLC-specific, so excluded.
